My name is Manuel Egele and I am an Associate Professor at Boston University’s Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. My research interests cover most aspects of security, in particular software security, security in embedded systems (IoT), and mobile systems security and privacy. I co-lead Boston University’s Secure Systems Lab – a proud member of the International Secure Systems Lab.

I am the area chair for Software and Web Security at ACM CCS 2018. I served as the poster chair for the ISOC Network and Distributed Systems Security Symposium (NDSS) 2016 and in the Student Travel Grant evaluation committee for NDSS 2017. I am also the artifact evaluation chair of ACSAC 2017 & 2018.
